I was bestowed the honor of MCing my bridesmaids own wedding this past Friday (p.s. Friday weddings rock). She looked incredible. The ceremony and reception was held their newly built house in their incredible garden complete with luxurious lounges, upholstered day beds and a gorgeous firepit. It was beautiful. All made by the groom. No tradesmen at all.
Yep, it's deliberately spelt wrong.
I can't really share pictures of the bride or guests without their permission (they were told about FB but not of this blog, it's fair) but I have a couple of our own.
The Amazing Alana Conway - finalist in Australias Got Talent last season. She also played at our wedding last November. Here was the song that brought me undone.
It was a black tie affair so I splashed out and used my 40% off (for as much shopping as I wanted) at City Chic.
First revelation. I am a size small in their clothes and XS in one or two of the more generous styles. Even Mr Bandit's mouth fell open as he was handing me outfit after outfit to try on.
I finally decided on some tops and two dresses. One to be worn to the wedding and one for a ball Mr Bandit and I are going to in Melbourne for all franchisees, from the franchise we just bought.
Hair peice $10 from Valley Girl, earrings $8 from Diva
Vows.
Of 196 wedding pictures on Facebook, this one attracted the most comments.
Shoes from Tony Bianco (+ matching purse)
First Dance
My new FB profile picture.
Mr Bandit and I having a cuddle after the ceremony.
The Dress. Not sure I'll ever wear it again but I loved it and there wasn't too much overhang or yucky bits.
So I felt pretty incredible in this dress, though I'm not a purple fan at all. On others, sure. On me, bluergh. I overlooked that because this dress felt like a dream on.
Mr Bandit is the KING of photobombing other peoples pictures, so it was hilarious to see someone did it to him.
Too much champagne, or not enough.
Mr Bandit hasn't drunk alcohol for nearly two years so he is an absolute doll by the end of the night when I am trying to being a goose. Exhibit A.
Logies?
After the wedding night on Friday, my family and I travelled 9hrs the next day to outback NSW for my 20 year school reunion. I have HEAPS of photos but again, they are full of other people who wouldn't like to be on my blog. It was an incredible night catching up with old school friends.
Sadly my ex husband wasn't there to see how good I looked (it was his school too) *giggle* but I had alot of people saying how amazing I looked. Boost to the ego? Yes, yes it was.
Did I mention I drank until 11am the next morning? Thank goodness for my sister who had my babies stay over. Mr Bandit left the after party around 5 and I stayed til 11, went to the motel and slept then was up again for the recovery BBQ (where we all got to meet each others children) 3hrs after that. BIG day.
After three hours sleep (still drunk) with my Uncle David and my Mumma bear.
I finally got to meet my new neice Emily. Awww.
The next day we spent a few beautiful hours with my twin sisters and all my neices and nephews and my parents who drove 5 hrs to see us. It was just fantastic and made my heart sing. Then it took us 10.5 hrs to drive home that day.
I think it took until Tuesday to properly sober up and revive.
So the point to the story is - I saw the pictures and couldn't believe it was me. I look smaller than I feel and that feels great and makes me realise I'm on the downhill slide.
I saw the photos on Facebook and they are all stunning, and I think you chose the most beautiful ones to share here (especially those great shoes! - lol)
You look sensational and it is great seeing the changes happening so quickly now. You may never have the opportunity to wear that dress again as it will be too big for you soon - perhaps a "worn once only" sale could be in the cards for you soon? (make sure you send me the link - ;) )
My god how amazing do you look in the dress.... the dress you bought from the wedding was from city chic... i thought you would be too small for that store which im sure you are!
YOU LOOKED AMAZING..... you are so photogenic...
IT seems Friday weddings are becoming the buzz now.
Glad you had an awesome time.. more pictures, i love picutres of you!

Best. Shoes. Evar. You should have worn a cocktail length dress to show them off! I can't get over how slim your legs look!
You're looking beautiful as ever. I'm glad to hear/see you're having fun. Love the pics.
