A Story About Jeans

My beautiful best friend in the whole wide world wrote a blog post recently and I've finally got online to read it. Shittiest blogger ever. 


She won't mind me telling you all that she had lap banding done a few years ago and it has changed her life. She is one of the most beautiful women I have ever met but still the little voice of doubt creeps in.  This is her post about her Sydney jeans. Complete with then & now pictures. Leave a little love. She is delicious. 


Speaking of delicious, my life is everything I have wanted 2010 to be.  Instead of being ONLY a mum and wife, I wanted to introduce some balance in the shape of satisfying work, play, music, laughter, fun and family. I've got it. 

• New job, managing a childrens clothing store & 6 staff in a major shopping centre. LOVE it! 

• A starring role in Annie - I won the part of Miss Hannigan over alot of other auditionees.

• A killer sell out season complete with standing ovations when I walked out for my bows.

• New friends with the same creative, eccentric, theatrical & musical tastes!

Did I mention that we have bought an amazing existing franchise called Bathroom Werx? It's been a few months in the making and $100,000 later we signed the dotted line last Friday. 'Scuse the picture, I had a total of 7 hours sleep in the 48 hrs prior. 

A drunken, gorgeous farewell for my friend (and retired blogger CKK) Catherine who has taken 4 years off to travel around the world. To do, see, and be who she likes.

My sweet, larger than life baby boy turned 2 at the end of June. Where did that time go? 

 I recently went home to Brpoken Hill for a weeks holiday, sans kids, to my parents house.  It was just a case of having the time and the opportunity so I bought the ticket and went. I had a ball and went along and saw the McClymonts perform. What a bloody wonderful show!

New Boots! 

Soemthing else that is keeping me extraordinarily busy is my Nail Fairy parties.  I do little girls parties and have a ball.  I teach them to do manicures and then they go nuts designing & painting their own nails. Here was a group from Saturday afternoon.

Whoops, Scott is giving me the hurry up.  It's 11pm and I was supposed to go to bed at 8.30. LOL
