It's one week after surgery and I believe I am only a smidge off being back to normal.
- My itty bitty, keyhole surgery wounds are just about healed
- I can sit without pain
- I can bend in the middle with no pain.
- I can make it through the day without a nanny nap (though after a 5 am start I did lie down with Mr 1.5yrs today.
- I feel terrific all over.
Do you know the best part?
I can feel the changes in my body already. Mr Bandit was lovingly caressing me last night (mind, gutter, out.) and kept saying "Shit! That feels weird!"

Mr Bandit and I woke this morning and thought we'd do a weigh to see what a week of liquids has done to my body.
*drumroll*
I am 112.9kgs.
One hundred and Twelve kilograms. That's 248.9lbs for my international friends.
Now, when I started this gig, I was 126.9kgs. HOWEVER since the start of this year (new years) I bounced up to 130kgs through holiday eating. So as much as this is about my lapbanding journey and my first visit to the doctor - I have lost 17 kgs since New Years Day 2010.
I may not have worked hard for those first few kilos at the beginning of the year but hell, it still counts.

YEAH!!! It's going to drop off.. It's so exciting, I've been hanging for this first week's results :) I am glad you're healing well and everything is almost running smoothly again. You're doing awesome :D

That is amazing! Its so exciting watching you change and getting healthy. One of my nearest and dearest had WLS done two years ago and it completely changed her life, she stopped existing and started living. xx
